Code Geass is a Japanese anime series created by Sunrise, directed by Goro Taniguchi and written by Ichiro Okouchi.

The first episode ran in Japan on October 5, 2006 and the second and last season ended on September 28, 2008. Both seasons have won several awards at the Tokyo International Anime Fair and the series was also awarded the title of best anime of the year in 2007.

After watching the first few episodes you might think that it's just another robot fighting anime but please, keep watching. I actually quit watching after a few episodes which was the dumbest thing I could have done. I finally finished it later on and will never regret it!

For those of you who have watched and liked death note, code geass is a little similar. We can't quite be sure if the main character is good or evil but we know one thing for sure, he's damn smart. You can never guess what's going to happen next and that's what's so awesome about it. Oh, and the finale is just amazing, code geass, without a doubt, has the best ending I've ever seen.
